Dover -- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that it will host it's Second Annual "Imagine A Litter-Free Delaware" Clean Up Day on Saturday, September 30. DelDOT has designated this as a statewide cleanup day when everyone is invited to come out to clean Delaware's roads, highways and community areas. This is also the day when everyone should stop and consider what a litter-free Delaware would look like, and do what they can to make our state and our world cleaner and healthier.

The deadline for students to apply is 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2005. At least 62 scholarships will be given to students throughout Delaware. First place winner will receive $8,250.

North Star Elementary is gearing up for the start of its first school year. Please join me and your neighbors on Friday August 19 th at 2pm for the district ribbon cutting/dedication ceremony.
